An evening service of choral music, prayer, and sermon, in celebration of Pride Week.
An annual tradition at St John's, Pride Evensong affirms and celebrates folk of all sexual orientations and gender identities, mindful of the struggles that have been and are still being faced to bring inclusion and equality to Queer folk everywhere. The service includes music by LGBTQIA2S+ composers, sung by the members of the Choristers of St John the Divine, Christ Church Cathedral Choir, and friends.
No matter how you identify, or how you understand the Divine, you are very welcome!
