Approximately 70 dedicated volunteers keep our food bank running on a weekly basis.

Our volunteers come from many places and for many reasons. Some are part of the community at  St. John’s. Some are from other local faith communities including, Congregation Emanu-El. Some are local community members who want to support their community.

They provide a service to break down bulk items (such as sugar and rice) into smaller containers, stock shelves, pick up food from a variety of sources, and distribute food directly to our guests when the food bank is open.
