Dr. Devor is an award winning pioneer in research on transgender issues, the author of important books and articles in the field, the founder and director of the largest Transgender Archives in the world, and the organizer of the international conference series, Moving Trans History Forward. He is a senior member of the International Academy of Sex Research and a fellow of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality.
