Here's a light-hearted posting for today...

Glimpses of God in a Tuk-Tuk, the ubiquitous motorised rickshaws found throughout India, and in many Asian countries?

Yes! The experience of riding these (at one point over 70km between Alleppey and Kochi in Kerala, South India) was such a delight that looking through my camera roll I was filled with joy just seeing this memory. This wasn't the one driven by my friend Shibu, who continues to talk to me via Social Media, but one of the hundreds constantly in motion in a frenetic dance around Kochi, and here seen in an uncharacteristically still mode.

Each one has something of the personality of its owner, we saw Tuktuks adorned with paintings of Ganesha, Shiva, The Buddha, and even Jesus and Mary around the towns. A small thing (and some are extremely cramped for a big person like me) which can bring moments of excitement and joy (and danger!) is definitely a candidate for a glimpse of the Divine in the ordinary!
