Darkness and Light Day Three

We went on a rafting trip to the Grand Canyon and at night we slept out on the beach by the Colorado River, which runs through the Canyon.  There were no bugs because of the bats and we did not need a tent.  As we looked up we saw the ribbon of starry sky  between the Canyon walls.  There is no ambient light in the desert at night so we could see millions of stars.  No one could look at that and not have a sense of the Holy.  And that starry heaven is what we are floating in all the time.  We just don't see it.
