A cease fire is not peace. Peace is peace. In a spirit of friendship and audacious hope, leaders from the three Abrahamic faith traditions (Judaism, Islam, Christianity) in the Greater Victoria area will come together this Sunday, May 23 at 2-3pm at Centennial Square in Victoria to pray for peace and to call for justice and a lasting end to the fighting in Israel and Palestine.

Speakers: Ismail Mohamed Nur, imam of Masjid al-Iman, Anna Greenwood-Lee, bishop of the Anglican Diocese of British Columbia and Harry Brechner, rabbi of Congregation Emanu-El.

Due to COVID restrictions, the event is invite-only (to a maximum of 50ppl) but will be livestreamed to Vimeo as well as YouTube and Facebook accounts.
