The servers provide silent, visible work. Servers assist in the service by carrying objects at the right times.

The cruxifer is the head server. In the processions the crucifer carries the cross, the acolytes carry the candles on either side of the cross, and the book bearer carries the book. Sometimes there are also banner bearers and a small cross bearer.

During different parts of the service, the servers carry objects to and from the altar.

The servers are ages 10 and up.

They wear white robes. Servers with at least one year of experience also wear a blue ribbon.
