The Parish Council for St. John the Divine meets once a month. There are approximately 12 regular members as well as the wardens, rector and associate priests, and the treasurer. Staff and the Vestry Clerk may attend but do not have voting power.
Members of council are elected during the annual vestry meeting. The council oversees the general operations of the parish.
The meetings are public. Anyone can attend. For most topics, everyone present can participate in the discussions, but only Parish Council members can vote.
Minutes from prevous Parish Council meetings can be found under Parish Council Documents in the Members section of the website.
