PWRDF is the way the Anglican Church of Canada can resource additional priority community development programs in Africa, other countries of the global south and in first nations communities in Canada. Mother-child health, food security and water comprise PWRDF’s principal sectors of intervention.

As a competent, well-respected agency, PWRDF leverages significant funding (up to 6:1 annual matching grants) from Global Affairs Canada. Thanks to you, PWRDF is also able to work through its local and international partners to provide strategic relief and rehabilitation projects serving refugees, migrants and the victims of natural disasters.

There are lots of engaging and informative stories of PWRDF’s fabulous work on the interactive map found on the web-site:

An insert explaining PWRDF’s participation in the world-class Canadian Food Grains Bank is also featured in the Feb. 2018 print edition of our national Anglican Journal.

Finally, Wendy Suddaby, Murray Luft and the Rev. Gillian Hoyer are always willing to sing the praises of PWRDF and answer any of your questions. Talk to any of them before church or at coffee hour.
