Join us in our diocesan-wide support of Orange Shirt Day.

Help raise awareness of the need for first nations, local governments, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope.

On Sunday, September 29, 2019, wear an orange shirt to church to honour residential school survivors and the children who did not survive Canada’s painful residential school system.

T-shirts can be purchased at Caffe Fantastico on Quadra near Bay, Fernwood Yoga Den or any Big Wheel Burger location. Cost: $20.

There will be a pancake breakfast served between the morning services from 8:30 to 9:30 in the parish hall for members of St. John’s. If you plan to attend please sign up on the sheet provided at the Garden Door so that we know how many to prepare for.
