Meditation Eucharist
The Meditative Eucharist is designed as
an oasis of silence and stillness in the midst
of an otherwise busy day. Only one reading is used.
Participants sit in silence about 15 minutes following
this reading. There is a short contemporary Eucharistic
Prayer approved by the Bishop. Communion is served
in silence. No collection is taken. No formal prayers
of the people are said, but there is time set aside
for personal silent intercessory prayers. |
