Alliance Club Cooking
The Alliance Club is a drop-in
centre for street youth, located in downtown Victoria. Hot meals are provided
for young people at the centre a few nights a week. A number of churches
and other organizations in the downtown area contribute to the centre
by stocking their freezer with casseroles that are heated and served to
the youth as needed.
The St. John's group includes
parishioners and non-parishioners who meet in the kitchen of the Parish
Hall the third Wednesday of each month to cook for the Alliance Club.
New cooks are most welcome. We have fun.
