Lay Pastoral Care Team

The team visits members of the congregation or their friends in their own homes and in care facilities and offers a ministry of support and care. Members of the team provide a connection with the rest of the congregation for those who are unable to attend church services, and bring to them the assurance of the congregation’s support. All of them have received visitors’ training, but are not counselors or therapists – but simply concerned friends. All visits they make are kept in the strictest confidence. Information is shared only with the clergy.

The team meets monthly for debriefing and for further training.
