Lay Pastoral Care Team

This group, which is to be commissioned at the services on Dec. 11, includes persons who attended a Lay Pastoral Care Training workshop that was held at St. John’s in September 2005.  Members are committing to work as lay pastoral care visitors, under the direction of Rev. Karen Fast.  As part of their duties, they will keep confidential records, accessible only to clergy. Also, they will meet monthly for further training and guidance.

The team has nine members: Peggy Bush, Sara Chu, Elizabeth
Davis, Jessie Mantle, Brenda Morton, Pat Ormerod, Ann McLaren,
Trish Punnett, and Dorothy Stewart.
