All Candidates Meeting at Our Place

Have you ever wondered why Our Place's inner courtyard is closed 16 hours every day, and 24 hours a day on weekends? The courtyard was built so people without homes would have a place to store their things and gather off the street. But 75% of the time it is closed. Rev. Al would love to open it, but the provincial government doesn't provide him with sufficient funding.

Wednesday, April 29, Carole James (NDP), Dallas Henault (Liberal), Adam Saab (Green Party) and Viola Langley (B.C. Refederation) will all be present at Our Place for an all-candidate's meeting from 7.00 to 9.00 p.m.. This is your chance to help those who will be elected to our next government understand how important it is to all of us that the poorest among us be provided with basic dignity, and rooms in which to live.
