Charitable donations are tax deductible. The Church of St. John the Divine is a registered charity. A convenient way to donate is through personal envelopes. You will be allocated an envelope with our own number and all donations in that envelope will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. All donations, regardless of the amount, will be recorded on an official tax receipt. This will be issued to you in February each year.
Envelopes can be requested through the Envelope Secretary of the church of St. John the Divine.

Automatic bank direct debit is also available for regular givings to St. John's. Application forms can be found in the "Automatic Debit" pamphlets at the rear of the church and by the garden entrance.
Online donations are also possible. These are good for special donations.
This is an important article on planned giving.
This is an interesting article on how it is better to donate a mutual fund investment directly, rather than cash it in and then donate it.
