Portland Island

July 2, 2001

For this walk the Diviners met at the yacht basin in Canoe Cove in order to board the ferry for Portland Island. There were 20 of us, so we had to use two ferry boats to take us out to the island. We left the cove about 11:15am. The weather was picture perfect. As you can see from the photos, it is a lovely walk that took us right around the island. We were all back to meet the boat at 3pm. The day ended at Mary's place for a Pot Luck supper where those attending had dropped off their goodies prior to starting on the walk.
