St John's still has openings for an alto and a tenor choral scholar. Choral scholars are paid to sing with the choir on Sunday mornings and at other events. Candidates should be students with good sight-reading skills and suitable choral experience. There is pay per service. For more information, contact the organist at or 250.383.7169.

St John’s is also seeking paid organ scholar. This would suit an organist (or pianist with interest in learning to play the organ) with experience or interest in choral music, accompaniment, and conducting. Candidates would likely be university-level, or at a high standard of proficiency on their instrument, and would probably be either a student or intending to enter university or graduate studies.
