Alliance Club Cooking
On
the evening of the third Wednesday of each month the Alliance Club cooking
group gathers in the parish hall kitchen to prepare casseroles to send
to a drop-in centre for street youth located in the downtown core. Some
parishioners make casseroles at home to bring to send with the meals
made at St. John’s.
Contributions
may be made in a number of ways. Anyone is welcome to join us for the
preparation of meals. Monetary contributions are always welcome as well
– either to assist with the cost of ingredients or to target the
purchase of cooking utensils and equipment for use in the preparation
of recipes of 80 to 100 servings.
